Tom is the principal in charge of WB’s Washington, DC office, and manages WB’s strategic services practice. A nationally recognized leader in corporate real estate, Tom has extensive experience in the strategic planning, design, construction and operations of large, complex, mission critical projects and facilities.
Prior to coming to WB, Tom had been the last 24 years at Verizon, where he was a Director of Real Estate for Verizon's Support Operations organization. His work has included: managing the planning, transactions, design construction and facility management for Verizon Telecom’s 30M GSF real estate portfolio as well as major projects including: Verizon Telecom’s five-year Strategic Portfolio Plan (resulting in the disposition of 10 million gross square feet); planning in the aftermath of New York City’s 9/11 disaster, which resulted in the phased relocation of 2,300+ employees; and the planning, design, construction and operations of Verizon’s new national video and long distance network, as well as the planning and implementation associated with the sale of Verizon's World Headquarter's building.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. He also has Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, NJ.
Tom is a licensed professional engineer and a LEED accredited professional.
