Principal joins WB’s leadership team
February 2007
WB Engineering, a professional engineering and technology consulting firm, has named Peter Babigian, P.E., RCDD, LEED AP, a principal. He will assume responsibility for the firm’s technology design and project management consulting practices.
Mr. Babigian, 37, brings to WB a wealth of principal-level experience in large enterprise project management and in the design, procurement, and implementation of cabling infrastructure, local- and wide-area networks, voice communication, wireless, distributed antenna, audio-visual and physical security systems.
He is a former principal and director of engineering and design at Constantin Walsh-Lowe, where his project work included such clients as Bloomberg, Deutsche Bank, The Hearst Corporation, John Wiley & Sons, Johnson & Johnson, Pace University, Random House, and Shearman & Sterling.
“We were looking for someone to bridge the gap between the technology and mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services we offer,” says David Bonifacic, managing principal of WB. “Peter’s experience, talent, and focus make him the ideal person for this role. I have no doubt that his efforts will be instrumental in our firm’s continuing success.”
Mr. Babigian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA and is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in New York and New Jersey. He recently earned the LEED accredited professional designation in new construction through the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council). He is also a registered communication distribution designer (RCDD) through BICSI, the Building Industry Consulting Service International.
He resides in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. |
