WB Engineers Expands to Dublin, Ireland; Desmond Greene Returns Home to Head the New Office
October 2007
New York-based WB Engineers | Consultants has opened its first international office - in Dublin, Ireland, according to David Bonifacic, managing principal at the firm.
The office provides the same services as its New York counterpart, which includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing/fire protection and technology engineering and consulting. The new office, called WB Engineering Limited, is located at 27 Upper Fitzwilliam Street in the center of Dublin City.
“When one of our long-time employees decided to move back to Dublin, his hometown, we recognized the perfect chance to make this expansion move,” notes Mr. Bonifacic. “Desmond Greene, CEng, MIEI, has been a WB employee for six years, and my colleague for fifteen; he is the ideal person to oversee this new operation as managing director.”
“There are many advantages to choosing Ireland as our first location overseas,” says Mr. Greene. “Not only is the market strong for an experienced engineering firm, but the city is very conveniently situated, with such major Western European capitals as London, Madrid, Paris and Berlin fewer than two and a half hours by plane.”
