Verizon FTTP, Freehold, NJ
WB provided commissioning services for the new MEP systems installed to serve the 8,000 sq. ft. data center/administrative space addition to Verizon's FTTP New Jersey Video Hub Office. The goal of the commissioning was to verify that all new systems will perform according to the design intent and the owner's operational needs.
The systems tested as part of this process included:
- Chilled water computer room type AC units, two new electrical distribution boards, power distribution units, step down transformers and electrical panels for the data center
- Reconfigured base building VAV system for the administrative space
- Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA)
- New fire alarm system
