Verizon FTTP, Philadelphia, PA
WB provided commissioning services for the new MEP systems installed to serve Verizon's 10,000 sq. ft. data center/administrative FTTP Video Hub Office in Philadelphia. The goal of the commissioning was to verify that all new systems will perform according to the design intent and the owner's operational needs.
The systems tested as part of the commissioning process included:
- Computer room AC units
- Electrical switchgear
- Distribution units
- Transformers and electrical panels
- Rooftop unit
- Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA)
- New fire alarm system
