58th Street Branch, Elmhurst Branch Library, Belmont Regional Library, Langston Hughes Community Library, Clason’s Point Branch Library, Pelham Bay Branch Library
WB worked with the New York City Department of Design and Construction on six library renovation and upgrade projects. Our work at the individual locations included:
- 58th Street: Electrical engineering design for a new elevator and full MEP/FP services for the ADA upgrade to existing bathrooms.
- Belmont Regional: Electrical engineering design for interior and exterior lighting improvements.
- Clason’s Point: HVAC, electrical, and plumbing modifications for a 9,250 sq. ft. renovation.
- Elmhurst: Feasibility study to evaluate the three proposed schemes for the library renovation, ranging from only adding an elevator, to a full floor fit-out.
- Langston Hughes: Full MEP/FP design for the fit-out of the 3,250 sq. ft. basement.
- Pelham Bay: Electrical engineering design for the upgrade of exterior security lighting.
