Cerebral Palsy Association, Bayside, NY
For the Cerebral Palsy Association's 30,000 sq. ft. renovation, WB designed the MEP/FP systems for both the medical and educational spaces. Our work began with a survey and analysis of the capacities of and problems with the existing systems; we then adapted these systems to meet the design goals of the renovated space. The medical facilities included specialized dental labs, which have unique MEP requirements because medical gas is used in these labs, nursing stations and examination rooms. The educational spaces included conference rooms, classrooms/training rooms, and rehabilitation/physical therapy rooms.
