The scope of work for this project consisted of providing space planning and engineering design for the complete build-out of three contiguous 20,000 sq. ft. floors. The space included a reception area, addition of a staircase, private offices, workstations, kitchen pantries, and a 1,000 sq. ft. computer data center with two supplemental HVAC units.
The building's low slab to slab height made the ductwork design complicated. WB had to closely coordinate with the architect in order to locate lights, diffusers and ducts. An additional staircase was added to the space, with unique requirements for the location of the sprinklers. The computer room's two supplemental HVAC units, back-up power supplies and a preaction system needed to fit in a limited space.
