DIRECTV, New York, NY
DIRECTV recently relocated their corporate headquarters from California to New York City. WB provided MEP design services for this 60,000 sq. ft. interior fit-out project. Since part of the space was still occupied by the previous tenant when the construction started, the project was completed in two phases.
The scope of work for this project included open and closed plan offices, conference rooms, pantry and a large boardroom with complex AV capabilities. DIRECTV's offices were designed with high-end finishes and unique architectural features. Therefore, special coordination with Gensler, and all other project disciplines was important to successfully complete the project. In addition, because DIRECTV was relocating from across the country, the tight schedule had to be met.
