Euro Brokers Inc., New York, NY
The primary objective of this project was to build-out a trading facility and general office areas. Since Euro Brokers was occupying temporary space after being displaced from the World Trade Center, the completion schedule was critical to this project. The space consists of two 30,000 sq. ft. floors, including a trading floor, executive offices, conference rooms and general office space.
A state-of-the-art air conditioning and control system was required for the trading floor. Two air conditioning units were installed, supplementing the building's air supply and providing 24/7 operation. The 1,200 sq. ft. systems room included redundant air conditioning systems and a 225 kVA UPS system, with backup from a base building standby generator.
