WB is presently performing technology consulting and MEP engineering for the Nixon Peabody expansion project in midtown Manhattan. The project includes one new floor of 25,000 RSF; the construction of three new telecom rooms and replacement of all communications cabling on those three floors; relocation of the existing server room, and the installation of new backbone cabling from the new server room to six telecommunications rooms. Over the course of this project, Nixon Peabody is migrating to a new voice over IP telephone system, and the majority of the work is being conducted in a live occupied environment.
WB’s responsibilities include complete project management and the coordination of all new installation and relocation activities. The project is expected to achieve LEED silver certification.
Nixon Peabody was pleased with the MEP and cable infrastructure design and project management WB delivered in New York City and has recently engaged our team to provide similar services for the firm’s California office.
