IBRIX, Billerica, MA

To accommodate their growing business, IBRIX expanded their 7,500 sq. ft. office space by 3,300 sq. ft. and added a new 450 sq. ft. computer room. In addition, they upgraded the HVAC and electrical systems in their existing 800 sq. ft. computer lab. WB provided MEP engineering services for the project.

The new computer room was designed to both showcase IBRIX's technology capabilities as well as to provide additional computer room space. The electrical and HVAC systems serving their existing computer lab were undersized. This caused frequent power loss due to an overloaded electrical service and overheating. WB properly sized the HVAC and electrical systems, thereby providing continuity to their computer service. WB completed the project in two phases of construction in order to limit downtime of the computer lab.
