Under the new regulations being implemented by the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB), Special Inspections must be conducted to verify that construction complies with the plans approved by the DOB. Special Inspection Agencies must be independently accredited by the International Accreditation Service (IAS), or an equivalent agency accrediting to ASTM E329-07 international standard, and must be hired directly by the building owner rather than the contractor. WB is accredited by the IAS to provide Special Inspections in the following disciplines:

• Sprinkler Systems
• Standpipe Systems
• Fire Alarm
• Emergency Power Systems (Generators)
• Mechanical Systems
• Fuel-oil Storage and Piping Systems
• Heating Systems
